Under Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Students’ Echo’ campaign, Jeetu Patwari has begun a bicycle trek from Indore to Bhopal, aiming to mobilise thousands of young people to press the government on issues such as NEET rigging, paper leaks and unemployment, while demanding free education from KG to PG.
Jeetu Patwari, a local activist, has kicked off a bicycle journey that will take him from Indore to Bhopal as part of Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Students’ Echo’ campaign. The trek is expected to draw thousands of young participants who will join him along the route. The primary goal is to pressure the central government on several pressing concerns, including alleged rigging in the NEET examination, leaks of exam papers, and rising unemployment among the youth. Additionally, the march seeks to raise the demand for free education from kindergarten through postgraduate studies.
Patwari’s initiative follows a growing trend of grassroots movements that use symbolic marches to amplify student voices. By covering the 200‑kilometre stretch, he hopes to create a visible platform for dialogue between students and policymakers. The campaign has already received support from various student organisations and local NGOs.
The journey will conclude in Bhopal, where Patwari plans to hold a rally and press conference to summarise the demands and outline next steps. Organisers are coordinating with local authorities to ensure safety and logistical support for the cyclists and accompanying volunteers.
