Jammu and Kashmir Transport Service Limited (JCTSL) has disclosed that it will undertake a detailed survey to chart a direct bus corridor linking its network to HJU. The move is part of the corporation’s broader effort to expand inter‑city services and provide faster, more convenient travel options for commuters.
Officials said the survey will assess road conditions, passenger demand, and operational feasibility before a final route is approved. While no timetable has been set for the launch of the service, the survey is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.
