For Janmashtami and Nandotsav on September 4‑5, Shri Nathji Temple will suspend regular darshan passes and QR‑code kiosks, allowing only a two‑day limited entry.
Nathdwara’s Shri Nathji Temple has announced a temporary change in its darshan arrangements for the Janmashtami celebrations and the accompanying Nandotsav on 4 September and 5 September. The temple, a major pilgrimage centre in Rajasthan, will operate under a restricted entry system for these two days.
All standard darshan tickets – including the regular darshan pass, the manorat (wish‑fulfilment) pass and any protocol‑based passes – will not be issued on the specified dates. In addition, the QR‑code machines that normally facilitate electronic ticketing will remain shut.
Visitors will still be permitted to enter the shrine, but only through a limited‑capacity arrangement that the temple authorities will manage on the ground. The decision aims to streamline crowd movement and ensure safety during the high‑attendance festival period.
