The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been certified as fully literate under the ULLAS‑NBSK programme, achieving a 98% success rate.
The administration of Jammu and Kashmir announced today that the Union Territory has attained the status of a fully literate region under the ULLAS‑NBSK scheme. The declaration follows an extensive literacy drive that covered both urban and remote rural areas.
