On Wednesday, the AISA unit at Jamia Millia Islamia organized a solidarity program to voice support for Palestine.

On Wednesday, the All India Students' Association (AISA) unit based at Jamia Millia Islamia convened a public programme aimed at expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine. The event took place on the university campus in Delhi and was open to students, faculty members and invited guests.
Speakers highlighted the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and called for an end to the violence, urging the Indian government and international community to take a stronger stance against the aggression. Participants observed a moment of silence and displayed placards bearing messages of support for Palestinian civilians.
The gathering reflects a growing trend of student activism on foreign policy issues across Indian campuses. While the university administration did not issue an official statement, it allowed the event to proceed without disruption, underscoring the institution's tradition of permitting peaceful expression of political views.
Organisers emphasized that the programme was purely a demonstration of empathy and did not intend to politicise the campus. They appealed to fellow students to continue raising awareness through peaceful means.
The event adds to a series of solidarity actions taking place nationwide as the conflict in the Middle East draws heightened attention from Indian civil society.
