Earlier today, a vehicle parked outside a house in Jalandhar was targeted by a group of thieves who smashed its window in an attempt to break in. The car, which was left unattended, was not yet stolen, but the incident prompted a swift response from local law enforcement.
Jalandhar police have secured the scene and are collecting evidence, including the damaged window and any footprints or fingerprints left at the site. Officers are also gathering statements from nearby residents who witnessed the break‑in.
The primary investigative tool will be the CCTV footage recorded by the house’s security cameras. Police are currently reviewing the footage to trace the movements of the suspects and to identify any vehicles that may have been used.
At present, no arrests have been made. The police have urged anyone with additional information or footage from nearby cameras to come forward, and the investigation is ongoing.
