Jaipur is currently hotter than Jaisalmer, while temperatures across Rajasthan have dropped below 40°C and Udaipur is entering its pink winter phase.
The Rajasthan Meteorological Department reported that Jaipur’s daytime temperature has risen above that of Jaisalmer, making the capital the hottest point in the state today. Despite this localized spike, most districts in Rajasthan have seen temperatures dip below the 40°C mark, offering some respite from the intense heat that has dominated the region for weeks.
Udaipur, known for its lakes and palatial architecture, is experiencing the early signs of its seasonal "pink winter," a period when cooler evenings and a gentle pink hue in the sky become common. Residents have welcomed the milder weather, noting that night-time temperatures are now comfortable for outdoor activities.
Officials advise citizens to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially in hotter pockets like Jaipur. The department will continue to monitor temperature trends and issue updates as the state moves further into the cooler phase of the year.
