Jaipur police have arrested two additional suspects in the ongoing Rs 6.8 crore WhatsApp ‘Boss Scam’ investigation.
Jaipur police announced the arrest of two more individuals suspected of involvement in the Rs 6.8 crore WhatsApp “Boss Scam”. The latest arrests bring the total number of detainees in the case to several, as investigators continue to unravel the fraud network.
The scam, which operated through WhatsApp messages promising high returns and masquerading as senior officials, is alleged to have duped victims across the state of Rajasthan. Police say the newly apprehended suspects were identified through digital forensics and cooperation from telecom providers.
