Jaipur's upcoming Metro Phase 2 will introduce a 41 km corridor, significantly enhancing connectivity across the city. The project is expected to benefit approximately 2.5 lakh daily commuters.
Jaipur is set to witness a major transformation in its public transportation system with the development of Metro Phase 2. This new project will establish a substantial 41-kilometer-long corridor, aiming to streamline urban mobility.
The planned route will provide direct connectivity to key city hubs. Passengers will be able to travel directly to the airport, the main railway station, SMS Hospital, and the Vishwakarma Industrial Area (VKI). This extensive network is designed to reduce travel time and congestion for residents.
Authorities anticipate that the new metro line will significantly benefit the daily commute for a large segment of the population. An estimated 2.5 lakh passengers are expected to utilize the service each day once it becomes operational, marking a substantial upgrade to Jaipur's transportation infrastructure.
