A dilapidated government school building in Jaipur was razed as part of Chief Minister CJP’s ‘School Thik Karo’ initiative to upgrade educational infrastructure.
A dilapidated government school building in Jaipur was demolished today as part of Chief Minister Chetan Singh's "School Thik Karo" programme aimed at modernising school infrastructure across Rajasthan.
The demolition was carried out by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation on behalf of the state education department. Officials said the structure had become unsafe and was no longer usable for teaching.
The "School Thik Karo" scheme, launched earlier this year, seeks to renovate or rebuild schools that are in a state of disrepair. The razing of the building is the first visible step in the programme’s implementation.
The site will be cleared for a new, safer school building that will serve the local community once construction is complete.
