The Rajinikanth‑starrer Jailer 2 has experienced a decline on its second Wednesday, yet it has amassed nearly ₹475 crore in domestic earnings.
Jailer 2, starring superstar Rajinikanth, has reported a drop in collections on its second Wednesday at the Indian box office. Despite the decline, the film has crossed the ₹475 crore mark domestically, marking a strong performance for the franchise.
The film opened to high expectations following the success of its predecessor. While the second‑Wednesday dip reflects a normal drop in theatrical revenue, the cumulative earnings indicate sustained audience interest.
Industry analysts note that Jailer 2’s domestic gross places it among the top‑earning releases of the year, even as it continues to draw crowds in multiplexes across the country.
The movie’s continued presence in theatres suggests that it will remain a key contributor to the year’s box‑office totals, with distributors anticipating further earnings in the coming weeks.
