The Rajinikanth‑Hrithik Roshan starrer Jailer 2 recorded a 15‑day box‑office collection that surpasses the earnings of the film Coolie, according to The Times of India.
The Tamil‑Hindi bilingual action drama Jailer 2, featuring veteran superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, has completed its fifteenth day in theatres with a box‑office total that now exceeds the lifetime earnings of the earlier hit Coolie, as reported by The Times of India.
Industry analysts note that crossing the Coolie benchmark is a notable achievement, given the latter’s strong performance in the domestic market when it released. Jailer 2’s sustained audience draw over two weeks indicates robust word‑of‑mouth and repeat viewership across multiple regions.
The film’s success underscores the growing appeal of cross‑regional star collaborations and suggests a healthy appetite among Indian moviegoers for high‑budget, star‑driven spectacles. Distributors are likely to extend the film’s theatrical run, while streaming platforms may vie for digital rights in the coming weeks.
