The Rajinikanth‑starrer 'Jailer 2' collected about Rs 45.55 crore at the Indian box office by its sixth day, according to The Times of India.
The latest installment of the franchise, 'Jailer 2', featuring veteran actors Rajinikanth, Mohanlal and Vidya Balan, has crossed the Rs 45.55 crore mark in its first six days of release, The Times of India reported. The figure represents the cumulative net collection across the domestic market since the film opened on Tuesday.
Box‑office analysts note that the film’s steady earnings reflect strong audience turnout in both metropolitan and tier‑2 cities, where the star power of Rajinikanth continues to draw crowds. The daily collections have remained robust, with the sixth‑day takings contributing to the overall total.
The performance places 'Jailer 2' among the higher‑earning releases of the year, reinforcing the commercial viability of big‑budget star vehicles in the current market climate.
