Infosys' Springboard Livehood initiative has generated over 250,000 employment opportunities, while other leading IT firms plan to train 800‑1,000 fresh graduates per batch.
Infosys, the Bangalore‑based IT giant, announced that its Springboard Livehood programme has created more than 2.5 lakh (250,000) job opportunities for candidates across the country.
The initiative focuses on bridging the gap between fresh graduates and industry demand by providing skill training, mentorship and placement support under a structured framework.
Following Infosys' example, other leading IT companies are expanding their training centres, with plans to equip 800 to 1,000 new graduates per batch with job‑ready skills.
Collectively, these efforts aim to strengthen the talent pipeline for India's IT sector and contribute to broader employment objectives.
