A new Rs 100‑crore bus terminal at Kumedi MR‑10 in Indore will start trial operations on 28 October, offering airport‑like amenities for Gujarat and Rajasthan services.

The Madhya Pradesh government has completed a Rs 100 crore inter‑state bus terminal on the Kumedi MR‑10 corridor in Indore. Designed to match airport standards, the facility spans several acres and includes modern waiting lounges, digital information boards, and dedicated parking.

From 28 October, the terminal will conduct trial runs of buses plying between Gujarat and Rajasthan, marking the first operational phase before full commercial service begins. State transport officials will oversee the trial to ensure smooth passenger flow and adherence to schedules.

Travelers can expect amenities such as air‑conditioned waiting areas, Wi‑Fi connectivity, food courts, and separate zones for ticketing and baggage handling. The terminal also features integrated security systems and real‑time bus tracking displays.

The project aims to streamline inter‑state travel, reduce congestion at city bus stands, and boost connectivity for business and tourism across the western region of India.
