Indore to Host Over 600 Ganesh Pandals for Ten-Day Festival Starting Monday

Indore has set up more than 600 Ganesh pandals across the city as the ten‑day Ganeshotsav begins on Monday, with special rituals planned in temples and homes.
Indore city officials have completed preparations for the annual Ganeshotsav, installing over 600 temporary pandals that span from historic colonies to newly developed townships.
The ten‑day celebration kicked off on Monday with the first idol of Lord Ganesha placed in each pandal. Municipal teams coordinated lighting, sound systems and crowd‑management measures to ensure smooth festivities.
Alongside the public installations, temples across Indore will host special bhog offerings and ritual ceremonies, while residents are expected to keep Ganesh idols at home for the duration of the festival.
Authorities have urged citizens to observe safety guidelines, avoid fire hazards and follow any applicable health protocols.
