Indore to Host Government Job Fair on Sept 7 for 8th Pass to Graduates

The Madhya Pradesh government will hold a large-scale employment fair in Indore on September 7, targeting job‑seekers aged 18‑35 with qualifications ranging from 8th standard to graduate degrees.
Indore, Madhya Pradesh – On September 7, a government‑organized employment fair will be set up at the Indore Exhibition Centre, aiming to connect young job‑seekers with leading national companies. The event is part of the state’s drive to boost youth employment ahead of the upcoming fiscal year.
The fair will cater to candidates aged 18 to 35 who hold any of the following qualifications: completion of class 8, a bachelor’s degree, a B.Pharm, an ITI certificate or a diploma. Organisers have asked participants to bring original academic certificates, a résumé and an Aadhaar card for verification.
Over 30 reputed firms from sectors such as pharmaceuticals, information technology, manufacturing and services are expected to conduct on‑spot interviews and shortlisting. Positions ranging from entry‑level to supervisory roles will be advertised, with salary packages varying according to the role and qualification.
State officials have urged eligible youth to attend the fair, emphasizing that it offers a rare opportunity to secure stable employment without the need for extensive travel. The government will also provide counseling booths to help candidates understand job requirements and career pathways.
