In a bid to enhance the safety of school children, the Indore traffic police and transport department launched a 10-day inspection drive from 8 to 17 July. The drive focused on checking school buses to ensure they adhere to safety norms. A total of 1126 buses were inspected during this period, and action was taken against 163 buses that failed to meet the required standards.
