The Lokayukt Police in Indore raided 15 police stations linked to the Police Training College and discovered that the head constable possessed assets exceeding ₹6.26 crore.

The Lokayukt Police of Indore carried out coordinated raids on 15 police stations associated with the Police Training College on Tuesday. The operation aimed to investigate the financial dealings of the head constable of the institution.

During the search, investigators seized records and documents that revealed the constable owned assets valued at more than ₹6.26 crore. The assets included real estate, vehicles and other properties, all of which were not declared in his official financial statements.

The findings have raised concerns about corruption within the police training establishment. Officials said the discovery will prompt a thorough audit of the constable’s financial records and a review of the college’s internal controls.

The Lokayukt Police have announced that the case will be forwarded to the anti-corruption wing for further action, and a formal inquiry will be launched to determine how the assets were accumulated.
