Indore BJP's Backward Class Front New Committee Excludes MP Supporters, Sparks Row

The newly announced executive committee of the BJP's Backward Class Front in Indore omitted supporters of a sitting MP, prompting a sharp clash between city president Sumit Mishra and MP aide Kamal Goswami.
On the day the Indore unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party unveiled the fresh executive committee of its Backward Class Front, the roster did not feature any members linked to the local Member of Parliament's camp.
The exclusion immediately drew criticism from party cadres who argued that the decision sidelined an important constituency.
City president Sumit Mishra took to the party office to voice his displeasure, labeling the omitted supporters as "paid workers" and questioning the committee's representativeness.
In response, Kamal Goswami, a known aide of the MP, confronted Mishra, and the two engaged in a heated verbal exchange that drew the attention of onlookers.
Party officials later said the matter would be reviewed internally, but no concrete changes to the committee have been announced yet.
