An Indigo flight from Delhi was forced to divert to Patna for an emergency landing after experiencing airspace congestion over Darbhanga airport due to multiple aircraft issues.
An IndiGo flight operating from Delhi encountered a situation requiring an emergency landing at Patna Airport. The aircraft had to circle in the air for approximately 20 minutes before being granted permission to land in Patna.
This diversion was necessitated by a parking crisis at Darbhanga Airport. The congestion arose due to technical issues with two other aircraft at the Darbhanga facility: a SpiceJet plane experienced a tyre burst, and an Akasa Air aircraft reported a technical malfunction.
