Across India, schools were shut on October 30 as heavy rainfall prompted authorities to declare a nationwide holiday, preventing students from attending classes.
In response to widespread heavy rainfall, the Ministry of Education announced that all schools across India would remain closed on October 30. The decision aimed to safeguard students and staff from dangerous weather conditions. Parents were advised to keep children indoors and monitor local weather updates. Schools are expected to resume normal operations once the rain subsides and roads are deemed safe. The closure applies to both government and private institutions nationwide.
