India's energy sector is closely monitoring LPG supply routes, with the Middle East identified as the most dependable source, according to S&P Global Energy's Pulkit Agarwal.

The Middle East continues to be the primary and most reliable source for India's Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) imports, a senior analyst has stated. Pulkit Agarwal, Head of India Content at S&P Global Energy, emphasized this dependency in a statement to ANI on Tuesday.

Agarwal highlighted that the Indian energy sector is paying close attention to the restoration of energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz. Recent disruptions in this crucial maritime route have underscored its significance for India's energy security.

The analyst's remarks point to the critical nature of the Middle East in ensuring a stable supply of LPG to meet India's domestic demand.
