Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, after meeting Ukrainian leaders in Kyiv and Polish officials in Warsaw, said India is in continuous touch with both Ukraine and Russia to help end the conflict.
S. Jaishankar arrived in Warsaw after a series of talks with top Ukrainian leadership in Kyiv on Thursday.
In Warsaw, he met Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, discussing regional security and diplomatic efforts.
During the meeting, Jaishankar emphasized that India maintains continuous contact with both Ukraine and Russia, aiming to facilitate a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
He reiterated India’s role as a neutral mediator and its commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives that could bring an end to hostilities.
The minister concluded that sustained dialogue and cooperation are essential for lasting peace in the region.
