Members of India's Generation Alpha staged street demonstrations demanding improvements in school quality across the country.

Across several Indian cities, members of Generation Alpha – the cohort born after 2010 – took to the streets to call for better schools. The young demonstrators, many of whom are already attending primary and secondary institutions, voiced concerns about the quality of education they receive. Their demands focus on upgrading school infrastructure, modernising curricula and ensuring teachers are adequately trained.

Organisers said the protests reflect a growing awareness among the youngest citizens about the importance of a robust education system. While no official figures were released, the movement has drawn attention from education authorities and policymakers, who have pledged to review existing school standards.

The demonstrations are part of a broader trend of youth activism in India, highlighting that even the youngest generation is willing to mobilise for systemic change in public services.
