The 19‑year‑old horse Dono Di Maggio, ridden by Indian dressage rider Chheda, passed the mandatory veterinary check and is now cleared to compete at Friday’s Asian Games dressage event.
The International Federation for Equestrian Sports (EFI) had earlier classified the 19‑year‑old horse Dono Di Maggio as unfit for competition.
A thorough veterinary inspection conducted by the Asian Games organising committee has now cleared the horse, removing the earlier restriction.
This clearance enables Indian dressage rider Chheda to take part in the scheduled dressage competition on Friday, keeping his Asian Games campaign on track.
Officials said the horse met all health and fitness criteria required for high‑level international events, and no further concerns have been raised.
