The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has asked the Indian Legends cricket team to apologise after the Pakistan side was knocked out of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) tournament. PCB officials said an apology was needed to address the circumstances surrounding Pakistan's exit.
The request came shortly after Pakistan's elimination from the WCL event, prompting PCB to publicly urge the Indian side to express regret. No official statement from PCB detailed the specific reasons for the demand beyond the request for an apology.
Indian Legends players responded directly, stating a clear "no" to the PCB's demand. Their refusal was communicated without additional comment, indicating that they do not intend to issue an apology.
The standoff leaves the issue unresolved as the tournament proceeds, with both cricket boards maintaining their respective positions.
