An Indian national was killed in a Houthi rebel strike in Saudi Arabia that also killed several other foreign nationals. The Indian government has issued an advisory urging its citizens in the kingdom to stay indoors.

A Houthi rebel strike targeted a location in Saudi Arabia, resulting in the deaths of multiple foreign nationals, including one Indian citizen. The attack is part of the ongoing cross-border violence involving the Yemen-based Houthi movement.

According to reports, the strike killed four Saudi citizens, two Bangladeshi nationals, a Palestinian, a US citizen, an Egyptian, a Jordanian, a Syrian and a Sudanese, alongside the Indian national.

In response, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs issued an advisory urging all Indians residing in Saudi Arabia to remain indoors and avoid unnecessary travel until the situation stabilises. The Indian embassy in Riyadh is closely monitoring the developments and is in touch with local authorities.

The incident highlights the risks faced by expatriate communities in the region amid rising tensions. Indian officials have advised nationals to follow local safety guidelines and keep in contact with the embassy for any assistance.
