India's women beat Zimbabwe by nine wickets in the second T20 International, securing an unassailable 2‑0 lead in the series.
The second women's Twenty20 International between India and Zimbabwe ended with a dominant performance from the Indian side, who chased the target while losing just one wicket. The nine‑wicket margin underscored India's superiority throughout the game.
India's batters paced the chase, rotating the strike and finding boundaries with ease, which allowed them to reach the required total comfortably. Zimbabwe struggled to build partnerships, and their bowlers could not contain the flow of runs.
With this victory, India now leads the three‑match series 2‑0, making the final match a formality as the series is already secured. The win also boosts India's standing in the ICC women's T20 rankings and adds momentum ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
The Indian team will look to maintain this form in the concluding game, while Zimbabwe will aim to salvage pride in the final encounter.
