India and the United Kingdom have reaffirmed their commitment to deepen economic ties and unlock new business opportunities, according to Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.
In a joint statement, India and the United Kingdom reiterated their resolve to strengthen bilateral economic relations and create new avenues for trade and investment. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted that the two countries will work closely to remove trade barriers and foster collaboration across key sectors such as technology, pharmaceuticals, and green energy.
The announcement follows a series of meetings between Indian and British officials aimed at boosting market access and encouraging joint ventures. Both sides expressed confidence that the enhanced partnership will benefit businesses and consumers in both nations.
The UK has been a significant partner for India, with trade volumes growing steadily over the past decade. India, in turn, seeks to deepen ties with the UK as it prepares for its post-Brexit economic strategy.
Piyush Goyal emphasized that the commitment reflects a shared vision of a mutually prosperous future, urging Indian companies to explore opportunities in the UK market and vice versa.
