All schools in India will be closed tomorrow, 22 October, to celebrate Dussehra. The holiday is observed nationwide, though the exact date may differ slightly in some states based on local calendars. Parents and students can refer to the state‑wise holiday schedule released by the Ministry of Education to confirm the specific dates applicable in their region.
In addition to the Dussehra holiday, the Education Ministry has published a provisional list of school holidays for November 2026. The list includes major festivals and national holidays, allowing schools to plan their academic calendars well in advance.
