India chaired an ARIN-AP gathering that emphasized coordinated efforts to trace, seize and return assets linked to criminal activities.

The Asia Regional Interpol Network for Asset Recovery and Prevention (ARIN-AP) convened a meeting chaired by Indian officials, concentrating on the tracing, confiscation and repatriation of assets derived from criminal activity.

Delegates from member nations exchanged views on improving information sharing, legal cooperation and capacity‑building measures to boost the effectiveness of asset recovery operations.

The Economic Times noted that India’s leadership aimed to cement regional collaboration, ensuring that financial proceeds of organized crime are identified, seized and returned to the rightful jurisdictions.
