Leaders of the INDIA opposition bloc have been making last‑minute visits to Sagar Ratna on Janpath and Moets in Connaught Place, turning the restaurants into impromptu political meeting points.
Sagar Ratna on Janpath and Moets in Connaught Place are well‑known eateries in central Delhi that attract a steady flow of customers. Recently, functionaries of the INDIA opposition bloc have been dropping in at these outlets after receiving sudden calls, using the spaces for quick discussions.
The visits are described as informal and unplanned, with leaders arriving for brief strategy talks before moving on to other engagements. Restaurant staff confirm that the groups occupy a corner table for a short time and then leave without disrupting regular service.
Political observers note that such impromptu meetings allow the bloc to coordinate rapidly amid a fast‑moving political landscape, turning everyday dining spots into temporary political hubs.
