India and Poland have agreed to deepen cooperation in defence, counter‑terrorism and commerce, aiming to double bilateral trade by 2030.

India and Poland have signed a comprehensive bilateral trade agreement that seeks to expand cooperation across defence, counter‑terrorism and commercial sectors.

The pact outlines joint initiatives in defence collaboration, including technology sharing and joint exercises, as well as coordinated efforts to combat terrorism and enhance security cooperation.

Both governments have set a clear target to double the volume of bilateral trade by 2030, with measures such as tariff reductions, investment incentives and streamlined customs procedures to facilitate greater exchange.

Officials from New Delhi and Warsaw said the agreement will strengthen strategic ties, open new markets for businesses in both countries and encourage technology transfer.

Implementation will be phased over the coming years, with regular reviews to assess progress toward the 2030 trade‑doubling goal.
