The Haryana chapter of the Indian Medical Association has filed a petition seeking a court injunction against the upcoming Sunny Deol‑starrer, claiming the movie portrays doctors in a defamatory manner.
The Haryana unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) approached a district court, requesting an immediate stay on the release of the forthcoming Sunny Deol‑starrer. The association alleges that the film contains scenes that malign the medical profession and could damage the reputation of doctors.
According to the petition, specific sequences depict doctors as negligent and unethical, which IMA Haryana says is a gross misrepresentation. The body argues that such portrayals could erode public trust in healthcare providers, especially at a time when the sector is under intense scrutiny.
Representatives of the film’s producers have not yet commented on the allegations. The court’s decision on the stay application will determine whether the movie proceeds as scheduled or faces a delay pending further review.
