ICC Postpones World Club Championship Amid Big Three Objections

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a postponement of its proposed World Club Championship, citing objections from the sport’s dominant cricketing nations. The decision follows concerns raised by the so‑called "Big Three"—India, England, and Australia—regarding the tournament’s format and scheduling. ICC officials said they will revisit the plans once the issues are resolved. The delay marks a significant shift in the council’s strategy to promote club-level competition worldwide. The exact timeline for a rescheduled event has not yet been disclosed.
