In a joint initiative, the Indian Corporate Council and the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority organized a National Pension System awareness session in Agartala, Tripura, aiming to educate citizens on retirement planning.

Earlier this month, the Indian Corporate Council (ICC) and the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) held a National Pension System (NPS) awareness session in Agartala, Tripura. The event, part of the ‘Retire Smart India 2.0’ campaign, was attended by local officials, pension experts and residents eager to learn about retirement savings options.

During the session, representatives from ICC and PFRDA explained the key benefits of NPS, including tax advantages, flexible contribution plans and the option to choose a pension fund manager. They also highlighted how the scheme can help citizens build a secure financial future.

The organizers hope the drive will boost enrollment in the NPS scheme across the state, empowering more Tripurians to plan for a comfortable retirement.
