Hyderabad Mobilises 20,000 Personnel for Final Ganesh Visarjan Parade

The Telangana police and civic authorities have deployed around 20,000 staff to manage the concluding Ganesh immersion procession in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad is gearing up for the last day of the annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, when devotees will immerse the idols in the city's water bodies. The immersion, known as Visarjan, draws large crowds from across the state and neighboring regions.
To ensure safety and smooth flow of participants, the Telangana police, along with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, have mobilised roughly 20,000 personnel. The force includes police officers, traffic controllers, and municipal workers tasked with crowd management, traffic diversion and rapid response to any emergencies.
Officials anticipate a massive turnout and have laid out detailed routes, barricades and medical aid stations along the procession path. The coordinated effort aims to prevent congestion, protect the environment and uphold public order during the final immersion ceremony.
