Amit Shah will be in Bhopal for a 23‑hour stint to address around 35,000 dairy farmers, officials said.
Home Minister Amit Shah announced a 23‑hour visit to Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, to meet a large gathering of dairy farmers.
The meeting is expected to involve roughly 35,000 dairy producers from across the state, who are seeking government support on issues such as milk procurement, pricing and infrastructure.
Officials said the extended stay will allow Shah to hold multiple sessions, including farm‑level interaction and a briefing with state officials, before returning to Delhi.
The visit aligns with the central government's ongoing efforts to boost the dairy sector, a key contributor to rural incomes.
No further details on the agenda have been released.
