UMANG Singhhar criticised the state government, alleging that Hindus in Madhya Pradesh are in greater danger than Pakistan and accusing BJP-RSS of focusing only on vote politics.

Bhopal, Sep 7 (Amar Ujala) – Opposition leader UMANG Singhhar launched a sharp attack on the Madhya Pradesh government, asserting that the Hindu community in the state faces a level of threat that surpasses even that posed by Pakistan. Singhhar linked the perceived insecurity to the policies of the ruling BJP and its ideological partner RSS, accusing them of being preoccupied with electoral calculations rather than addressing communal concerns.

In his remarks, Singhhar highlighted the recent controversy surrounding the "Sagar poisonous liquor" case, using it as an example of governmental negligence. He argued that while the administration is quick to respond to high‑profile scandals, it neglects the underlying vulnerabilities of the Hindu populace in the state.

The leader called for immediate action to safeguard minority rights and demanded that the BJP‑RSS leadership shift its focus from vote‑bank politics to genuine public welfare. No official response from the state government or the parties was recorded at the time of reporting.

The statement adds to a growing chorus of criticism from opposition figures who claim that communal issues are being politicised ahead of upcoming elections in the region.
