Heavy Rains Flood Several Madhya Pradesh Districts, 4,000+ Rescued in Rewa

Heavy rain swept across Madhya Pradesh, creating flood‑like conditions in districts such as Rewa, Satna and others. The rising water levels forced authorities to launch large‑scale rescue operations. State disaster management officials, together with the National Disaster Response Force, deployed boats and high‑water vehicles, evacuating more than 4,000 people from inundated areas in Rewa district. Relief camps have been set up to provide shelter, food and medical aid to those displaced. Officials continue to monitor the situation and have warned of possible further disruptions as the monsoon intensifies.
