Meteorological authorities have issued a heavy rain warning for parts of Andhra Pradesh, yet the state’s Dasara festivities continue unabated.
Meteorological officials have warned that heavy rainfall is expected to hit several districts in Andhra Pradesh in the coming days. The forecast covers a broad swath of the state, with precipitation levels projected to be significant.
Despite the looming weather threat, local organizers and devotees are proceeding with the Dasara celebrations as planned. The festival, which marks the triumph of good over evil, is a major cultural event in the region.
Authorities have urged residents to take precautions, but the enthusiasm for the festivities remains strong. The celebrations are expected to continue with traditional processions, music, and community gatherings, even as rain showers are anticipated.
The weather advisory has prompted some logistical adjustments, but the spirit of Dasara is said to remain undampened across Andhra Pradesh.
