Heatwave likely in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, officials warn

The state weather departments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have released an alert warning of an impending heatwave, as highlighted in recent social media updates. The advisory, circulated on Instagram, cautions residents about unusually high temperatures expected over the coming days.
Officials advise the public to stay hydrated, limit outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and wear light clothing. Schools and workplaces are urged to implement heat‑mitigation measures, such as providing drinking water and shaded rest areas.
Health authorities are on standby to respond to heat‑related illnesses, and they recommend that vulnerable groups, especially the elderly and children, monitor their well‑being closely. The departments will issue further updates if conditions intensify.
