The Aravali range, which stretches for about 650 kilometres across Rajasthan, Haryana and Delhi, is a vital ecological corridor that supports diverse flora and fauna.
Saini stressed that protecting the hills is not solely a government duty but a shared responsibility that includes local communities, private enterprises and civil society.
He called for coordinated action to curb illegal mining, promote afforestation and ensure sustainable tourism, while also highlighting the need for stricter enforcement of environmental regulations.
