The Haryana cabinet has sanctioned a package of reforms aimed at boosting housing, electric vehicle adoption, micro‑small‑medium enterprises and governance efficiency.

On Tuesday, the Haryana cabinet approved a comprehensive package of reforms aimed at boosting the state’s housing sector, electric vehicle (EV) adoption, micro‑small‑medium enterprises (MSME) and overall governance efficiency.

The housing component introduces measures to streamline land acquisition processes, offer subsidies for affordable housing projects, and simplify approvals for developers.

In the EV arena, the cabinet has announced incentives for local EV manufacturers, plans to expand charging infrastructure, and aims to promote the use of electric vehicles among residents and businesses.

The MSME package focuses on easing access to credit, reducing compliance burdens, and providing technical support to small businesses, while governance reforms seek to enhance transparency, improve public service delivery, and strengthen digital platforms for citizen engagement.
