The Haryana government has cleared development projects worth Rs 220 crore and, through negotiations, managed to save Rs 18 crore.
According to a statement issued by the Haryana state administration, development projects with a combined outlay of Rs 220 crore have been given the green light for execution. The clearance covers a range of initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and public services across the state.
State officials said that intensive negotiations with contractors and suppliers resulted in cost reductions amounting to Rs 18 crore. These savings were achieved by revisiting contract terms, optimizing material procurement and leveraging bulk purchase discounts.
The government expects the approved projects to boost regional growth, generate employment and enhance the quality of life for residents, while the reclaimed funds will be redirected to other priority schemes.
