Former Uttarakhand chief minister Harish Rawat, leader of the Indian National Congress, is intensifying his outreach campaign across the state as the next assembly elections draw near.
The campaign, which began last week, focuses on door-to-door visits, community meetings, and addressing local issues such as infrastructure and employment.
Rawat's team has scheduled rallies in key districts, including Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, and Rudraprayag, aiming to consolidate support among rural voters and counter the ruling party's narrative.
