Hanumangarh police, acting under Operation Chakravyuh, arrested alleged drug trafficker Bheemsen alias Kanha and recovered about 3,000 tablets of the prohibited drug pregabalin.

Hanumangarh police announced the arrest of a suspected narcotics trafficker identified as Bheemsen, also known as Kanha, as part of the ongoing anti‑drug drive called Operation Chakravyuh. The operation, launched by the state’s law‑enforcement agencies to curb the flow of illicit substances, led to a raid in which authorities seized approximately 3,000 tablets of pregabalin, a medication classified as a prohibited drug under Indian law.

According to the police statement, the seized tablets were found concealed in the suspect’s possession during a search of his residence. The quantity recovered is considered significant, reflecting the scale of the trafficking network the operation aims to dismantle.

The arrested individual is being held for further interrogation, and the case will be forwarded to the district court for legal proceedings. Police officials emphasized that the seizure underscores their commitment to curbing drug abuse in Rajasthan and warned that similar operations will continue across the state.

Operation Chakravyuh, which began earlier this year, has already resulted in multiple arrests and seizures in various districts. Authorities have urged the public to report any suspicious activity related to drug trafficking to assist ongoing investigations.
