Hanumangarh Independent MLA Ganeshraj Bansal Granted Bail in 23‑Year‑Old Land Case

Hanumangarh's independent MLA Ganeshraj Bansal was released on bail by the district and sessions court on Saturday in a case concerning an alleged fake land deed dating back about 23 years. He had spent four days in police remand and one day in judicial custody before the court granted him relief.

Following his arrest, Bansal was kept in police remand for four days and then spent one day in judicial custody. During this period, he was produced before the district and sessions court for further proceedings.
On Saturday, the district and sessions court heard the bail application and, after considering the facts, granted him bail. The court noted that he had already undergone the prescribed remand and custody periods.
As an independent legislator representing Hanumangarh, Bansal's release on bail allows him to continue his legislative role while the case continues. The legal process will now proceed according to the scheduled court dates.
