Three unidentified assailants sprayed a substance in a man's eyes and fled with a bag containing ₹17 lakh in Guna. The victim was on his way to deposit cash from three firms into a bank.
In a brazen daylight robbery, three motorcycle-borne criminals targeted a man in Guna, making off with ₹17 lakh. The incident occurred near the Rapti bridge on Hat Road on Tuesday morning.
The victim was reportedly carrying cash from three different firms to deposit at a bank when the assailants intercepted him. They allegedly sprayed a substance, believed to be chili powder or a similar irritant, into his eyes to incapacitate him before snatching the bag containing the money.
Following the robbery, the three perpetrators escaped from the scene. Local police have launched a search operation, reviewing CCTV footage from the area and establishing checkpoints (nakabandi) in an attempt to apprehend the suspects and recover the stolen cash.
